Hello, I would like to know how to paint light or glow.on a person. For example, when a person is holding a candle or a glowing sphere, how to do it.
Hi Monika! That’s such a lovely suggestion, thank you so much! Have you already seen my Lady Amalthea tutorial? There’s a lamp in that piece, and I talk a little bit about how I approach painting the light and glow there. It’s not a full tutorial focused only on that, but it might already give you a few helpful tips! And I’ll keep your idea in mind for a future tutorial, maybe something generally about light and shadow :D!

I would add to the light tutorial maybe how to make things glow – clouds, sun, moon – ethereal lightning so to say. I think it is really hard to grasp what to look out for and what colors to choose.
