Painting Skin with Complementary Colors + Acrylic Underpainting and Oil Overpainting || PEACH 🍑

In this tutorial I walk you through the full Princess Peach painting from start to finish, focusing on how I combine acrylic underpainting with oil painting and how I move from transparent washes into thick, opaque layers 🎨

You will see how I build the background first to establish lighting and color, then place the figure on top, and how I use warm and cool contrasts like purple and orange to mix skin tones. I also show how I correct mistakes, for example when colors turn too blue or too dark, and how I repaint and adjust them without starting over.

Since the tutorial is quite long, you can also jump to specific parts and use them as focused studies, like the mushrooms, the background, or the face. I included a lot of palette footage so you can clearly see how I mix specific color areas and reuse them across the painting to keep everything clean and consistent ✨

Mediums for the Acrylic Painting part: Flow Improver for example from W&N or Fluid Medium from Boesner
