As promised here are progress pictures from my Painting Queen Tiye. This was very interesting to paint for me as the reference had a lot of straight angles and lines. Therefore I used a ruler to make sure my lines would turn out elegant and clean! I also loved the limited color palette of this one! It's so Egyptian, absolutely wonderful!🥰
Again I painted on Hahnemühle The Collection 600 gsm Hot Pressed Paper to avoid any warping or buckling and it worked! The finished painting is perfectly straight!
Since I discovered that I can print my sketch onto my paper I didn't do a sketch by hand again lol! I think there are two kinds of artists, those who like to draw and sketch and those who like to paint! I am definitively the latter! 😆
