Woohoo!!! I finally finished these two portrait commissions! 😍 I absolutely enjoyed doing them as I they are on a larger format and I was able to include all the details and abstractions I wanted!!! The style I chose for these paintings is one I developed a few years ago and wanted to revist this again! It was so much fun! I love all the dripping effects and the flowers! I also finally painted on a gessoed board (which took me quite some time to build in the first place!!) The gessoboard provides a perfectly smooth surface for the portraits and I will share close ups with you soon! 😍
(I filmed the full process of these paintings but the footage is over 20 hours long so I need to figure out how to turn them into video tutorials…😅)
