I managed to finish my new painting "Stella Maris" just in time for tonight's auction "Saints & Sinners" at the Badapple Artist Collective! 🔱
The golden statue represents the saint of the seafarers "Stella Maris" who guides and protects travelers safely to their destination.
The painting is created in mixed media, the highlights were done with oil pastels to recreate the metallic effects of the golden statue.
