REAL-TIME // Nathalie Portman Watercolor & Mixed Media Painting Process
For this portrait I used my limited watercolor travel palette which only contains a few colors (Mozart Komorebi Yellow Ochre, Red Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Azurite Blue, Ultramarine Blue, Metallic Paints, Indigo Blue, W&N olive green, chromoxide green, black, lemon yellow, cadmium orange light, red and a pink tone
I used quite a lot of Luminance pencils as well so have a look at the material guide – plus white gouache for the highlights! 😊 The paper is Hahnemühle Collection Hot Pressed Watercolor Paper.
