Hey my lovelies! This unnarrated video shows you the process of my painting “Just a Girl with her Pet Tiger” I used Watercolors, Gouache, Color Pencils & Oil Pastels on Hahnemühle Collection Hot Pressed Watercolor Paper.
This painting was especially interesting for me because I used AI to create the reference, you can see the original post with the different AI versions here: [Available for Members]
I recently learned a new little trick to add little extra color dashes to my work. It’s called chromatic aberration and comes originally from the field of photography. It describes the shifting of colors on the edges of objects.
I recreated this effect with my oil pastels: I added intense color accents on the edges of the dress, tiger, hair and flowers and it made the painting really pop!
