I managed to finish my painting "Ariadne" in time for today's auction "Wanderlust" at the Bad Apple Artist Collective Facebook page. 🦋 I used a range of various mixed media like watercolors, gouache, and acrylics because this motive was so difficult to render! Especially the background. It's almost impossible to paint an even background on Hotpress watercolor paper so I decided to add texture to it instead. I will show you progress pictures of her in the next few days!
