Refund, Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy

This policy applies to monthly and annual Paint with Lioba subscriptions purchased through paintwithlioba.com.
1. Cancelling Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Cancellation prevents future renewals. It does not automatically refund a billing period that has already begun.
Monthly subscriptions
Your cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid monthly billing period. You will retain access until that date.
Annual subscriptions
Your cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid annual subscription period. You will retain access until that date.
We do not normally provide proportional refunds for unused months of an annual subscription.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
You may cancel through:
your customer account;
the “Cancel Subscription” function on our website; or
[ALTERNATIVE CANCELLATION METHOD].
You will receive an electronic confirmation of your cancellation.
2. Voluntary Seven-Day Refund Guarantee
In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary seven-day refund guarantee for the first payment of a new subscription.
You may request a full refund within seven calendar days after:
your first monthly subscription payment; or
your first annual subscription payment.
You do not need to provide a reason.
To request a refund, email hello@paintwithlioba.com and include:
your full name;
the email address used for the purchase;
the subscription purchased;
the purchase date;
your Stripe receipt or transaction number, where available.
If a full refund is issued, your course access may end immediately.
3. Subscription Renewals
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
Renewal payments are not normally refundable.
However, we may provide a full refund where you contact us within seven calendar days after an automatic renewal and have not made substantial use of the course platform since that renewal.
Requests submitted later than seven days after the renewal are normally not eligible for a voluntary refund.
This is a voluntary policy and does not limit any mandatory rights available under applicable law.
4. No Partial Refunds
Except where required by law or expressly approved under this policy, we do not provide:
refunds for individual unused days;
proportional monthly refunds;
proportional refunds for unused months of an annual subscription;
refunds because the subscription was not used;
refunds solely because you forgot to cancel;
refunds for problems caused solely by an incompatible device, browser or internet connection.
This does not affect your legal rights if the digital service is defective, unavailable or materially different from what was promised.
5. Billing Errors
Confirmed duplicate payments and billing errors will be refunded.

6. Statutory Right of Withdrawal
The following information applies to consumers who have a statutory right of withdrawal.
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date on which the contract was concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us of your decision:

You may contact us by email, letter or through the electronic withdrawal function provided on our website.
It is sufficient to send your withdrawal request before the fourteen-day period has expired.
7. Effects of Withdrawal
If you validly withdraw from the contract, we will refund the payments received for the withdrawn contract without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after receiving your withdrawal request.
The refund will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Once the contract has been withdrawn and refunded, your course access will end and you must stop using the relevant digital content.
8. Immediate Access to Digital Content
Our courses contain digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium.
Where you request immediate course access before the fourteen-day withdrawal period has expired, you may be asked during checkout to:
expressly agree that we may begin providing the digital content immediately; and
acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal may expire when the provision of the digital content begins.
The loss of the statutory right of withdrawal applies only where all legal requirements have been met and the required confirmation has been provided to you on a durable medium.
Our voluntary seven-day refund guarantee may still apply even where the statutory right of withdrawal has expired.

10. Electronic Withdrawal
You may also submit a withdrawal electronically through:
