Hey lovelies! Omg! I’m so excited for this tutorial! I used the Komorebi Watercolors from Mozart which come with a couple of NEON COLORS. This was the first time ever that I was finally able to paint a rose excatly like I could see it on the reference photo!!! Wow! No more muted colors! She’s so bright that even my laptop can’t display the colors! 😱

With this painting I also pushed my boundaries in regards to how detailed and realistic I can paint a rose in this size and I’m super happy how she turned out! 😍

This tutorial guides you step by step through the whole process including how I traced the reference photo (which you are free to use yourself if you like ^^) and you can see my mixing process as well!

No worries if you don’t have neon colors, with normal watercolors your rose will be more pastel colored which is super beautiful as well! You can follow along no matter what watercolors or paper you use! 👍
