Here are 10 hours of my Kitsune Painting for you 😅! I painted her on the big Clairefontaine Hot Pressed Watercolor Block und used watercolors, color pencils, gouache and at the end some oil pastels from Sennelier to add some vibrant color accents!🥰 Creating the reference was a nightmare though😅! I used GetImage Ai with which I made my own stable diffusion model for the face by feeding it images of artworks I liked (then it has to learn these images for 24 hours and creates a unique AI model of them!) and then I worked on it in photoshop until I was happy with it. I proceeded with making various AI renditions of parts of the composition such as the fox, her clothing and the cherryblossoms until I was satisfied with all elements. With getImg Ai you can actually work on individual parts of a painting and re-render them. I learned that from AnduArtist’s btw and I made a bonus video in my course “Paint like the greats” that explains how I do it! Overall stitching this composition together took probably 5-6 hours but it was all worth it luckily! 🥰
For info about more promblems I encountered with this painting 😆 have a look at this post: [Available for Members]

As you can see in the image above the AI hand looks really bad so I had to take a photo of my own:
