Ohuhu Markers, Watercolors, Gouache & Color Pencils | Full Painting Process of “Kiki”

Here is the full time painting process of my “Kiki” painting! I used the Ohuhu Alcohol Markers from the Honululu Series [Available for Members] to paint her. I used Clairefontaine watercolor paper for her which was probably not a good idea because it sucked out so much ink from my markers that one of my purples is already empty!😅 So if you want to do something with markers I recommend buying marker paper (I believe Bristol has marker paper) Next time I will do that for sure! Anyways to get her face so smooth and lovely I worked both with color pencils and gouache, the little hatchings are from my gouache technique for which I use an old brush to create fine hachting lines, you can’t the see the details good enough in the video because I didn’t zoom in close enough so here’s a closeup view of her face and how the hatching technique turned out:
