Here is the remaining painting process of my Lady Guinevere Painting! Making all these patterns was really enjoyable to me, but it was challenging to not to lose focus and get too detailed. I always had the big picture in mind and adapted the size of the details accordingly. It is easy to “over-detail” one area and then the rest looks empty, so I was very careful when I placed some of the leaves and flowers. Btw I used some Japanese woodcut postcards as inspirations for patterns and florals. I used these postcards a lot for many paintings, and they are always very helpful! ☺️
